1) No Bra days

Wearing no bra at all. In Public. Nope. That is probably the most unforgivable fashion faux pas that could ever happen. Your apex must be exactly where it should be so that your clothes fall better on you. Wearing no bra under knitted clothes especially can go wrong in more ways than one. No matter how shallow-breasted you are, they will bounce, and if nothing else, you’re sure to develop a phobia for staircases. Going braless not only damages your breast tissues causing your breasts to sag ultimately, it also gives you a rather longish and less rounded frame. If you wear the right fitting bra, it isn’t as uncomfortable as wearing the wrong size. Get fitted by experts to know your right size and shape profile to wear a bra that is comfortable and gives you a great form that would instantly ramp up your style quotient.

2) The White and Black Fiasco!

When everyone’s focus is on wearing seamless nude bras under white clothes, panties are often a department much ignored. It is, in fact, a department far more catastrophic when it comes to lingerie faux pas. Wearing dark underwear or printed pretties under delicate whites is a disaster from the very beginning. The rule’s pretty simple – when it’s public, don’t be too loud.

3) The Whale Tail Syndrome!

This is debatable, but let’s face it, the ’90s were a time where even popular boy bands like NSYNC dressed like 4 year olds heading to a night club. (Ahem!) A trend just as trashy as the ’90s wallet chains was the rage of flashing whale-tails. However in 2016, showing off that thong on low-waist jeans…let’s just say, if you see it, steer clear. It is literally too flashy.

3) Double Boobs.

That’s double awkward. As a rule, always put on a figure hugging knit-tee over a new bra to check. In case you’ve got the wrong size and the bra cups are cupping you way too tightly, you might end up with what they call the “double boob”. Even if you are wearing the right size, sometimes the neckline coverage of the bra cups don’t suit your shape, which could result in this scenario.

4) Peak-a-BOO

Strapless and deep-back dresses, yup, that’s a whole evening of adjusting bra straps isn’t it? Firstly, if you’re wearing a low neckline or low-back top, do not wear a bra that isn’t. Definitely do not spend time pinning the bra straps to your top, hoping it will stay in place. Either opt for bras with straps and lace that are designed to be flaunted under or go for a balconette or backless bra, that are bound to go completely invisible under your clothes. Bra straps could act as an interesting element to your styling, but if they aren’t meant to be flaunted, they could really look very unsophisticated.

5) The Bermuda Triangle

Panty-lines! The word alone shoots cringing cold shivers down my spine! More often than once you spot a beautiful and well dressed lady walk into an office space, eyeing her admiringly and poof! PANTY LINES are all you can remember every time you see her. Go for laser cut, zero-hem panties and never be known as miss-panty-lines in your circles. An easy fix to a fairly common lingerie faux pas.

And that completes your check-list of 5 lingerie faux pas you can completely avoid. Go on now and rock any look with exuding confidence!
