2015 is coming to a close in a few days, and boy, has it been a good year for Marvel Studios. With blockbuster releases all over the world, the comic studio has come a long way from its success in 2014. However, if there’s one thing Marvel knows how to do best, it is to build on its triumphs, and learn from its failures. 2015 saw Marvel release the much-awaited sequel to the first Avengers film, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Ant-Man. Both made brisk business at the Box Office, and were met with applause from the comic community and critics alike. 2016 promises bigger releases with the Captain America film, as well as Doctor Strange. Here are a few of the releases that Marvel has lined up for the future.
May, 2016 – Captain America: Civil War
November, 2016 – Doctor Strange
May, 2017 – Guardians of the Galaxy 2
July, 2017 – Spider-Man
November, 2017 – Thor: Ragnarok
February, 2018 – Black Panther
May, 2018 – Avengers: Infinity War (Part 1)
July, 2018 – Ant-Man and the Wasp
March, 2019 – Captain Marvel
May, 2019 – Avengers: Infinity War (Part 2)
If Marvel’s track record is anything to go by, 2016 will be an even bigger year than 2015. Here’s hoping that all the comic fanboys (and girls, of course) will not be disappointed!
